If you prefer that we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the type of entities described in our Privacy Policy, you may opt-out of those disclosures; that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures. For joint accounts, an opt-out request submitted by one party will apply to all parties on the account. If you wish to opt-out of disclosures to these non-affiliated third parties, you should call us at (727) 442-7746, or complete the Notification To Limit Sharing (opt out) portion of the Privacy Policy and bring or mail the completed form to:

What Does CCECU Do With Your Personal Information?

 
Why?

Sharing Practices
How often does CCECU notify me about their practices?

We must notify you about our sharing practices when you open an account and each year while you are a member

How does CCECU protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

How does CCECU collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you
  • open an account or deposit money
  • pay your bills or apply for a loan
  • use your credit or debit card

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can't I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit sharing only for
  • affiliates' everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness
  • pay your bills or apply for a loan
  • use your credit or debit card

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

 

Definitions
Everyday business purposes The actions necessary by financial companies to run their business and manage customer accounts, such as
  • processing transactions, mailing, and auditing services
  • providing information to credit bureaus
  • providing information to check printing companies
  • responding to court orders and legal investigations
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies
  • CCECU has no affiliates
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
  • Nonaffiliates we share with can include companies that provide mortgage, investment, and insurance services on our behalf, and direct marketing companies, such as printing and mailing service firms

Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include insurance companies and direct marketing mail houses
